3 Countries in 1 day

We were in 3 countries today, Austria, Czech Republic and Germany.

We got off the boat in Linz, Austria.  Travelled by coach to Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic.  There we spent the morning with the tour guide, showing us the history of the town.  The town has pretty much stayed the same for centuries and had not been bombed during the Second World War nor damaged during the time it was a communist country.

Unfortunately some of our group got done by pickpockets, with one lady losing over $700.

Scott and I went into the Torture Museum, it was very lame.  It was dark, and the displays were very few.  I was very disappointed as I was expecting something really cool, but what do I expect for €5 each.
We had a lovely lunch in a restaurant in the town, and then headed back to the boat which is docked in Passau, Germany.

The country side in Czech Republic is absolutely beautiful, forests everywhere.

And I was amazed by the amount of solar panel arrays that they have.

The weather was not as cold today but it did rain a bit.

Oh and if you leave a comment can you please say who you are as they all come up as anonymous, which makes it hard for us to know who's visited :)

  3. The town was very much untouched by both the war and the communist as they population was very low, it was abandoned at one period.
