Finally home......

After 3 flights we are finally home.

Of course we had to buy the allocated alcohol at the duty free shop.

Had a great visit with my brother.

We have sorta unpacked and Mum had dinner ready for us when we got home which was yum.

Scotts cracked open one of his rum bottles and I'm saving my vodka for something special, lol not sure what yet.

Last day in Paris

So we tried to fit into today as much as we could.

The Louvre, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower.

Loved the Louvre, could have spent all day in there.

Didnt think much of Notre Dame, just another church, nice stained glass windows.  Not sure if we saw the best of it, but by that time my feet were aching and it took us long enough just the find the place.

After Dinner we went to the Eiffel Tower, ohhh its very sparkly.  On the hour it lights up big time..... Lovely.  We were only allowed up to the 2nd viewing area, not the top as the elevator to the top closed just as we started lining up.

Just about to finish packing my suitcase, then off to bed for the big flight home.

Cant wait.......

The Louvre pics.

Everyone was standing around taking pics of this marble statue, which made me laugh once i went around to the other side.

Yes she has a penis.

Tiny bed for a tiny man ;)

Paris

Pictures of Windsor Castle, Bath, Stonehenge, London Bridge, Tower of London, Big Ben, and Paris.

The pic loaded before the blog so please scroll down and read....

So we are nearing the end of our journey.

Arrived in Paris this morning.  We walked to the base of the Eiffel Tower while waiting for check-in at the Hotel.

The Hotel....... well it has good free internet, that's about the best i can say about it.  I was expecting a shoe box and I got one.  The hallway can only fit one person and the elevator, lets just say ill be going down the stairs.

We have found out that there is a special night on tonight called "Nuit Blanche" (White Night) where free exhibitions and museums are open for the whole night.  So that should be fun.

Since i got decent internet again here are heaps of pictures .......

The British Museum.... and our night out at Jimmy Carr.
